Tayman Park Municipal Golf Course, is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Healdsburg, California.
Tayman Park golf course first opened for play in 1921. The course was designed by Alister MacKenzie.
This scenic course is located in the wine country, so there are many beautiful views of the countryside. The most difficult hole is #3, a 141-yard, par 3, which plays directly into the wind. The fairways are hilly, and the greens are small. There are creeks that come into play on six holes.

I have played this course many times and will continue to do so. The greens are tiny, the fairways are inconsistent and if you fail to hit the ball straight you will be penalized. Under new management for the past 10 years, this Healdsburg muni has benifited with the new concessionair. Don't get lulled into complacency by the vistas from the courses higher elevations, Tayman Park can bite you hard if you let your guard down. However, if you can shot a par round of golf at TP, you can probably do so anywhere.
